SAT-ACT Information

2020–2021 SAT/ACT Prep

Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the availability of SAT and ACT exams for this school year, we are making the following options available for SENIORS ONLY.

As the school year progresses, we will continue to work with the school administration regarding appropriate opportunities to help our students.

SAT Prep Course
Partnership with Princeton Review

Registration for this has been closed due to lack of enrollment.

SAT Practice Tests
Partnership with Revolution Prep

Full-length SAT Practice Test – Saturday, Sept 19, 9am to 1pm
Full-length ACT Practice Test – Saturday, Sept 26, 9am to 1pm

Donation of $10 requested
For an additional $1, students can access unlimited tutoring for 1 month with Revolution Prep

Registration Instructions:

  1. Go to the Revolution Prep-Carlmont partnership page  and select the exam of your choice.
  2. Schedule your free Score Report Review with Revolution Prep Academic Advisor Tessa Selch via her appointment page or email.

  • For information on the OFFICIAL administration of these exams, go to CollegeBoard for the SAT exam, and ACT for the ACT exam. 
  • For the Class of 2021 (current Seniors), several colleges have announced that SAT/ACT scores will be optional. You can view a list here. Please check with specific colleges to verify this information.
  • The University of California is changing their ACT/SAT test score requirements, beginning with applications for the Class of 2021.
