The Story behind the Carlmont Family2Family Fund and Pantry
A few months ago, Carlmont PTSA asked for your financial help to support those families in need at our school, and you came through! Together our community donated almost $10,000 in grocery store gift cards, allowing us to provide much-needed help to families in our Carlmont community.
But, as the pandemic continues and people are still unable to work or may have lost their jobs, more families in our community struggle to meet their basic needs like food and rent. Recently, the requests for support have tripled, and we don’t anticipate these requests reducing anytime soon.
We are asking Carlmont families to join together again to help our student’s classmates and their families. Donations made today will support families with free pantry items, gift cards for groceries and gas, healthcare supplies like shampoo and bathroom necessities throughout the summer and hopefully will allow us to be prepared to assist those in need in the fall.
How you can contribute
There are two ways to support our PTSA Carlmont Family2Family Program.
1. Give a PTSA tax-deductible donation:
These donations will be used to stock the Carlmont pantry with non-perishable foods, household supplies, and personal items. The money will also help our PTSA fund additional programs that offer support to our community.

2. Donate gift cards from Safeway and Target:
You can support the Carlmont pantry by purchasing e-gift cards in any denomination.
Please use the following links:
Please have the e-gift card emailed directly to Terri Plack, an AVP assistant at email@example.com. Terri oversees the distribution of the gift cards and pantry items throughout the school year. She is volunteering her time over the summer so that we can continue to offer support to our Carlmont community.
